Or in my case smoothie in your eye, to be precise Tesco’s new Plum, Red Grape & Pear Smoothie and delicious it is too.

However not recommended as eye wash. So why did I decide to put some in my eye?

Well, don’t be silly! Of course I didn’t do it on purpose and I couldn’t do this again if I tried.

Truth is I was being lazy and juvenile, so as there wasn’t much smoothie left in the carton
– which is actually a bit of a concern, hmm, someone must have snuck in in the night and helped themselves, this will need to be investigated. Anyhow, I digress –
I decided rather than having to wash a cup or glass later I’d drink straight from the carton.

Feeling a bit like a naughty little girl again I gave it a good shake – everyone knows smoothie is better when it’s frothy – before I opened it and took a swig. Yum! Naughty and tasty feels good! So I gave the carton another swirl and promptly found myself experiencing the not too pleasant feeling of fruity froth in the right eye.

How on earth did a thick gloopy liquid manage to ‘jump’ from a carton, less than a quarter full, through a 10p size hole into my eye? And how can such a small drop of tasty liquid sting like that! Ouch!

That will teach me to try to turn back time and relive childhood naughtiness, from now on I shall behave as it is appropriate for my age – well, at least when it comes to drinking smoothies.

Now it is time to hunt the ‘phantom fruity goodness drinker’. I’m sure he/she also steals my chocolate! Grr!

A description says this is a soft chew candy with a consistency similar to sugar coated gummi bears, clear and milky white in colour, shaped like his swimmers and has a vanilla like and mango-cum-tropical fruit flavour.

Hilarious, the ideal snack for a busy Chester Escort, if they exist and anyone knows where to buy these please get me some or let me know where to get them.
